Why is DEF important?
The Environmental Protection Agency released emissions rules in 2010 for diesel vehicles of all sizes. These rules are some of the most stringent emissions standards in the world. Most light-duty and heavy-duty trucks are not able to meet the requirements without using SCR.
Fleet experience with heavy duty trucks model year 2010 and newer suggest 5% fuel savings compared to 2007 model year vehicles with similar engines.

Selective Catalytic Reduction
What is SCR?
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) is an emission control technology designed to inject Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) into the exhaust stream that will convert nitrogen oxides (NOx), with an aid of a catalyst, into nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O). It is the after-treatment technology that treats exhaust gas downstream of the engine.
SCR is a system that uses DEF to reduce NO to near zero levels to meet the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010 emission regulations.
SCR Process
Diesel engine recycles the exhaust. NO and Particulate Matter travel to DPF
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) traps the particulate matter and burns off the matter with a low grade heat. Note: The filters do need frequent maintenance. DEF is sprayed into the exhaust stream as the NO travels down to the SCR Catalyst.
DEF and NO enter the SCR Catalyst together where they react and are converted to nitrogen and water vapor.
Nitrogen and water vapor are then released from the tailpipe.

Supply presentation in a 55 gallon drum, for safe storage in the warehouse, avoiding contamination while it is in the container.
DEF 275 and 330 gallons Tote
presentation in 275 and 330 gallon liter containers for fleet consumption in higher volumes. We have dispatchers for this type of containers.
BULK DEF PER GALLON
For customers with dedicated tanks we can supply DEF in pipes to pump the DEF to their current storage infrastructure without requiring another type of container.
